The Story Of Nawazuddin Siddiqui.| Nawazuddin Siddiqui- From Watchman to Superstar

Following is the story of a Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui-

      Nawazuddin Siddiqui was born on 19 may 1974 in small town Budhana, Muzaffarnagar, in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India. His father was farmer and had nine children. Nawazuddin was elder among them. His dreams were bigger than his family could offered. He used to say that village only knew three things- Wheat, Sugarcane and Gun.

He graduated with bachelor of science degree in chemistry from Gurukul Kangri Vishwavidyalaya, Haridwar, then he went to Gujarat for work. He worked there as a chemist in the company for a year. In Vadodara he watched play for the 1st time. That night, the thought of being an actor bacam a dream for him.

     He went back to Delhi to learn acting. He joined there National School Of Drama, after graduating from NSD he moved to Mumbai to pursue his dream for become an actor.

     He made his Bollywood debut in the film 'Sarfarosh' with Amir Khan in 1999, where he played short role of terrorist. He  continued to work in the movies like ' School, Jungle and Munnabhai MBBS,' but It was not sufficient for him. His earning was less than he could able to survive in Mumbai. Meanwhile he  tried to get work in the Television Serial, but he didn't get much success there. Sometime he worked as a Watchman and sometime he sold Coriander.

     In 2004 he couldn't even pay the rent, so he asked his NSD senior to stay with him. The senior allowed him on one condition, if he was willing to cook meals for him. In the year 2007, he played a role of Asgar Mukadam in Black Friday film  which was nominated for the best film.

     The year 2012 became turning point in his life. He got film like 'Ganga Of wasseypur' and 'Kahaani.' These film got big support from the audience, people started recognising his real potential as an actor. After that he went on acting  in big movies like ' Talash, Kick, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Manjhi- The Mountain Man.'
 
     It took 12 years for him to became a "Versatile Actor- Nawazuddin Siddiqui."From his short role of terrorist in the film Sarfarosh.

     When he was asked in the interview with DNA India "During the struggling days, did you never think of giving up and going back to Budhana?" He said- "So many times I felt I was wasting my time because things were just not working out. But I couldn’t even go back. What would I do there? Spent all my life acting and that I don’t know the other work. Also, I used to be afraid my friends would tease me. Arrey hero banne gaya tha, wapas laut aaya (He had gone to become an actor and has returned with nothing)." 
 
     "When asked about Success and the way do your friends and relatives react once you go home?"- In reply he said- "It’s a sense of satisfaction because I proved all of them wrong. All of them said ‘kya hero banega (how will he become a hero)’ Once I began. When I go back now they say ‘isne toh karke dikhaya (he has done it)’. I made it possible."
