     " Wings of fire" is an autobiography of - 11th president of India, the great scientist and great human being, popularly known for missile man of India. A tremendous personality having all the qualities one can simply imagine. This autobiography is written by Dr. Abdul Kalam with Arun Tiwari.
     Dr. Arun Tiwari is an Indian missile scientist, professor and author. He has published many books and co-authored 5 books with Dr. Kalam. He worked under Dr. Kalam over a decade at in DRDL ( defence research and development lab ) Hyderabad.

The book "Wings of fire" consists of 180 pages, cover page includes Dr. Kalam's image and first published year is 1999. This autobiography covers 24 photos of Dr. Kalam which is taken at different times in their lives. This book also has been published in 13 more languages, which includes Chinese, french, Tamil, Malayalam, Gujarati and Oriya.

     This book is divided into seven parts. It starts with preface and Introduction, continued by orientation, creation, propitiation, contemplation & epilogue.
 
     The orientation segment of the book introduce the reader about Dr. Kalam's birth place, primary education and Madras Institute of technology. The 2nd segment covers Dr. Kalam's work experience and involvement in the different projects like SLV 3 and PSLV at ISRO.
  
     The third segment includes the year from 1981 to 1991 when Dr. Kalam was posted from ISRO to defence military lab. It also tells about different missile project like AGNI, AKASH, NAGA, AND TRISHUL . The last segment of the book covers Dr. Kalam's vision and thoughts for the proud India, and vision 2020.
 
     This book is written in very simple language, and it seems like author is directly seeking to readers. Wings of fire an autobiography helps the reader to unlock their inner potential.
