Learning from mistakes. | How to learn from failures.

Once the ceramic teacher divided his class into two groups. For the 1st group he has given the target of making as many pot as possible in the period of 10 days. He told it doesn't matter what quality you make, I want as many pot as possible. And the 2nd half was told that I will gives you 10 days of time just make one pot, but it should be perfect with 100 percent quality. This experiment has been repeated many times.

At the end of 10 days when he evaluated result of two groups he found that the 1st group made the better pot of high quality than the 2nd group.

So he made the conclusion that because 1st group was busy in making, failing and learning, they would understand and keep improving where as the 2nd group was just thinking of making that perfect pot and when they finally made it was not anywhere close to the 1st group.

So, if you are striving to achieve something and get to make many mistakes along the way, worry not. These mistakes are part of learning process, they are essential part of the actions you take so that you can actually learn from them and use them as a valuable experience in your next attempt.

Can you tell the name of person who has not made any mistakes. Even all the successful people are the example of failure, before they succeed they passed through many failures.

Thomas Edison tried two thousand different materials in search of filament for the light bulb. When none worked satisfactory, his assistant complained, " all our work is in vain, we have learned nothing."
Edison replied very confidently,      " Oh, we have come long way and we have learned a lot. We know that there are two thousand elements which we can't use to make good light bulb."

Possibly we could be making serious mistakes in our life. But what's beautiful in life is__ life allows us  to correct those mistakes, isn't it? Behind the pencil there is a rubber, because mistakes can be erased.

" To make mistakes is a part of our nature. Accepting the mistakes shows our culture. And correcting the mistakes is progress."

Progressive life is to accept that I made a mistake, try not to repeat it again and improve in the area that we made a mistake.
