Plan less, Act more
When we want to accomplish a task or a goal, we usually fall into planning mode.We strategies all the possibilities and want to go ahead only when we have the perfect plan. There is nothing wrong with planning. A good plan help us divide a goal into actionable task and stay on track.
But, most often we unnecessary spend an inordinate amount of time on designing our task and don’t start till we fill like we have most optimised strategy. This mentality manifest in many ways.
This is trap!
Instead of waiting to have perfect plan, start with little planning. Something which never happen, you can quickly produce an imperfect result and, in successive stages keep improving and shaping the product or service until you reach optimal result.
“Results come to those who act while others are discovering the right ways to generate results.”
If your goal is to write a book, talking to best selling authors about writing and reading every book won’t make you writer, but the only way to become writer is to start writing.
“Be not afraid of growing slowly, be afraid only of standing still.”
When you find yourself facing new project in which you aren’t aware of many things, be agile. Decide what you can do now and do it.Start as soon as possible. Take brave decision without waiting to have the perfect solution, and move on.
Put the car in gear and little by little start steering direction until you get to your final destination.
“Plans remain plans until one acts. Leave the room of planning and enter into the garden of action.”
